Newreka Initiatives
With our global vision of creating an ecology that forwards the applications of green chemistry and green engineering technologies world-wide, we at Newreka have taken up various initiatives under the banner of our non-profit organization- Green ChemisTree Foundation We aim to sensitize Chemical Industry stakeholders from various walks of life, both in public and private domains by participating in and organizing various events;
- Participated as a Title Sponsor at Azeotropy March 2009, Chemical Engineering Association’s Inter college event at IIT(Mumbai)
- Sponsored ‘Green Chemistry Experiments’ books, which were given to around 100 professors from Mumbai who participated in the Green Chemistry Symposium organized by National College, Mumbai- April 2009.
- Organized the first ever Industrial Green Chemistry Workshop (IGCW-2009) for over 300 delegates from Indian Chemical Industry.

- Organized a one day Students’ Seminar on Green Chemistry at IIT-B in association with the Dept. of Chemical Engineering, IIT-B, Mumbai, December 2009.
- Organized a one day workshop for over 300 teachers on “Training in Green Chemistry and its relevance in Education Curricula” at the National College, Mumbai- December 2009
